They\u2019re reflections of what the island deserves\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to be bold, creative, free, safe, and real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To remember its soul, even under layers of concrete, contracts, and committee meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rogues\u2014the Ork, the Adeptus, the Secretary, the Harlequin, Romantic Interest\u2014they\u2019re all pieces of me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pieces of how I love: with absurdity, with precision, with fire, with silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They aren\u2019t heroes because they save the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They\u2019re heroes because they stay, because they notice, because they refuse to look away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So laugh. Rage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
